This is a lovely mirror, that is full of age, charm and character, with enormous proportions. Lovely medium oak frame.
Solid oak construction with an amazing pediment and decorative carvings.
An impressive and rare find, that would look amazing in the right location.
Fantastic condition with a quality panelled back and no woodworm.
The thick bevel edge mirrored glass is in good condition with only light foxing/hazing/oxidation/defects....exactly as most would want.
Overall maximum dimensions: 187cmW x 183cmH.
Glass area: 130cmW x 144cmH.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with antique furniture. There is a small patch of oxidation in the top LH corner ~ 5cm x 10cm (not completely obscure) and a couple of small wood chips missing from the frame (one on the crest).
Please note that this item is large and very heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide a strong able bodied people for our driver to assist with carrying.
